TAG HEUER HAS A NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR

August 1, 2017 (CHICAGO, IL) – TAG Heuer is proud to welcome Tim Howard, goalkeeper for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team and the Colorado Rapids to the TAG Heuer family as a brand ambassador.
 

Tim Howard recently led the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team in goal as they won the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Howard is the most capped goalkeeper in history for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team, with a total of 118 matches to date and was the starting goalkeeper for the 2010 and 2014 World Cup teams. Howard began his professional career playing for Major League Soccer club, MetroStars, for six seasons before signing with Manchester United F.C. Howard played 13 seasons in Europe between two of the top Premier League clubs; Manchester United F.C. and Everton F.C., and joined the Colorado Rapids in 2016.

TAG Heuer also unveiled special Major League Soccer dials for the Connected Modular 45, the second generation of TAG Heuer’s smartwatch. The Connected Dials will be available for all 22 Major League Soccer clubs, allowing fans to pick their favorite teams and customize their experience with the Connected Modular 45. TAG Heuer interviewed top players from each club about their experience playing for the team, city and fans, and their feedback was used as creative inspiration for the dials. The Major League Soccer Connected Dials will be available in the app store starting August 2nd.
 
TAG Heuer announced the partnership with Tim Howard and the release of the Major League Soccer Connected Dials on Tuesday, August 1st ahead of the 2017 Major League Soccer All-Star Game presented by Target, which took place on Wednesday, August 2nd at Soldier Field. This year’s match marks the 22nd anniversary of the competition, which celebrates the best athletes in Major League Soccer. The top players from the 22 Major League Soccer clubs battled against LaLiga club Real Madrid C.F., winners of the 2017 UEFA Champions League and LaLiga titles.
